You’re a busy mom like me? Struggling to find time and energy to fit exercise into your schedule?
If YES is the answer to the above well, read on!
Can we start be agreeing that being a mom is way way harder than we have ever imagined? Everything changes all the time every season of parenting! You get to figure it all out over and over again.
Yes we know fitness and exercise is critical and so important for our mental and physical well being, BUT it is SO difficult to reach our fitness goals (whatever it may be) in this age and day. Here is how I have found ways to get my workout in and some sanity back in my life all in schedule and in budget. Hopefully it can shed some light for you to keep on moving too.

1. Move With A ‘Buddy’ Pick Family or Friend
Cost : Free
‘Stay At Home’ are we? My favourite method of staying active is to have a buddy or two who has kids that are in or around the same age as mine, so they can hang and play while we workout! I discuss my goals with my buddy and bounce ideas of them on ways to exercise together. It may be either a long walk or doing some jumping jacks at the park while the kids are occupied on the swings. At the park its easy to challenge each other to bodyweight exercises like pushups or squats.

2. Convenience Fitness
Cost : <$MYR100/month (USD 30)
Convenience Fitness (at home sweat sessions to taking online classes) is booming and its all about making fitness fit into your lifestyle. Workout wherever and whenever you want has never been easier. The SWEAT app offers so many options from Pilates to HIIT and weight training with subscription of about USD 25 monthly and averages from 30-60 minutes workout from the comfort of your living area. If you’re keen, try the SWEAT app it offers a 7 day free trial here >> SWEAT

3. Exercise with your Favourite Influencers.
Cost : Free
Social Media has us with many options of fitness accounts you can follow to custom workouts everyday in the comfort of your home. For Yoga check out AniaTippkemper a Vinyasa Yoga instructor from Germany. For High Intensity Strength Training I follow Cass Olholm and Chontel Duncan both renowned Australian Gym Owners , Nutritionist and Busy Moms just like you and I. Love the flexibility and fuss free programs these ladies offer! they are so easy to follow, fast and convenient.
I have learned that being a mom is a strange mix of awesomeness and exhaustion combined. Its so hard to take time for yourself but I promise you everyone wins when mom feels better both physically and emotionally.
